This program provides strong consultant research supervision backed up by a stellar Preventive Medicine staff of the College of Medicine

- The Field of Ophthalmology is both surgical and medical
  - We teach our residents updated/current surgical techniques and standards of care for the management of ophthalmic conditions
  - After completion of residency training, graduates can manage general ophthalmic conditions medically and surgically.

- We cater to all patients with ophthalmic complaints -across all age groups, gender, ethnic, and socio-economic background.
